The Less Digest – 005

About a month or two ago Nau (pronounced now) asked me if I would teach a workshop for them at their shop in Portland, OR. The workshop was on building a capsule wardrobe with a focus on transitioning from summer to fall. It was an awesome opportunity that I just couldn’t pass up!

Honestly, I had not heard of Nau before they reached out but after doing a little research on their brand what I loved the most was their dedication to using the highest quality + sustainably sourced fabrics. Check out this link that share the list of what fabrics they use and why.

I ended up leaving with a nice pair of black straight leg chinos made of organic cotton. Y’all, finding cute clothes made of organic cotton is H-A-R-D, I highly recommend checking them out!

I also wanted to share these wide-legs from Nau. I happened to be wearing my Tobacco Kamms and saw a similar pair in the store that is literally the exact same color and cut.

Obviously, they are not made of the same cotton canvas and missing the iconic button fly but these are a great affordable option!

They only cost ya $98 compared to $395!

IG Friends IRL

I got to meet Brianna of @theconstantcloset last time I was in Portland and she was kind enough to make the drive to come to see me again for dinner while I was visiting this week. As a bonus, I had met up with Andrea of Seasons + Salt earlier that same day and we all ended up going to Thai Peacock for dinner!

It was so nice getting to meet online friends and talking all things IG, blogging and just being together! Wishing I lived closer to these two amazing ladies!

I started reading this book a while back and got distracted so I never picked it back up until I realized I was on a flight and had forgotten to download any podcasts so I opened up my library on my phone and found this one still unread. I was about 60 pages in when I last picked it up so I decided to just start over and I finished the whole thing in two days! It was such a good book, I kept taking screenshots of pages I loved and wanted to refer to later.

I highly recommend you give it a read! Here’s a link in case you want to get a copy!
