Today I’m sharing 3 ways you can style one of my tried-and-true closet staples: the cardigan. This particular cardigan is the Gaspard Jumper from Sézane and it’s such a lovely and versatile piece to add to your closet.
One thing that I love to do is take a great basic like this and find out how many new ways I can style it. So I thought I’d share them with you all!
Prior to Pinterest I had honestly never thought of wearing a cardigan as a regular top! You can wear it buttoned up all the way or with a few buttons undone for a more relaxed look.
Tied at the waist
For this style, when you do a tie at the waist, don’t pull too hard so you don’t stretch the fabric out. If it does get a little stretched out, then you can dampen the sweater slightly and let it dry flat on a towel and it should gain its shape right back. I’ll also toss mine in the dryer for 5 quick minutes and that will let it fluff up and help it reform!
I saved the best for last and this one is hands down my favorite style out of the 3. I think it’s such fun and unexpected surprise and I especially love it with this particular cardigan since the pearl buttons really stand out!
I hope you loved these looks; let me know in the comments which style was your favorite!
